My calling is two-fold. I help people who have a partner or family member with a chronic illness and realize they need to take better care of themselves in order to care for their loved ones. I also work with those in the midst of crisis following a great loss, especially the loss of a partner or spouse, who are ready to take action to rebuild despite their grief. In all, my clients recognize their need for compassion, support and accountability.

My first husband died due to complications from Lupus after an eight and a half year struggle with the disease. This experience, in addition to assisting with and watching my parents care for my grandmother for 18 years, makes me an empathetic support for people and families in similar circumstances. I understand the stress and how alone one can feel as a family caretaker and a young widow. To learn more about my journey click here.

Whatever your concerns are, my passion is to help you find which food and lifestyle choices will work best for you and the life you desire.  My goal as a Health Counselor is to help clients find their inner strength to live their best life by focusing on extreme self-care, gratitude and finding joy in everyday living.

My approach is holistic and multifaceted, helping to incorporate things that nourish you other than food, including honest and open relationships, a meaningful spiritual practice, a career that inspires you, and physical activity that you enjoy. These elements are called Primary Food. As a Health Counselor, I will work with you to help you find balance in both Primary Foods and the foods you eat on a daily basis.

It is hard care for others or heal from loss if we are not taking care of ourselves.
